"Punk rock attitudes without the plattitudes. In your face all over the place.
Young and poised for domination." -The Athens News................................. With a gentle giant drummer in Austin
McGee pounding (no really, pounding) the skins into submission, the calm pressence of Chip Gilkey thumping along on bass,
and the tough-as-nails (although diminutive in height, hence the danzig comparisons) front man/guitarist Susie Black playing
simple yet subtly intricate guitar parts whilst jumping and screaming like a mad-man, Unrest Depressants (also known as the
UDP) are three young men tampering with the makings of an explosive combination. With some labels courting them, they have
yet to sign, due to Susie's strong stance on what he wants. If a label thinks they have what it takes to handle the task of
giving the live sound of the UDP what it deserves on record, then let them know you're interested. They are looking hard for
what they want, and when they find it, they'll be one of the harshest bands punk rock will allow.
New EP out now.
